Job Responsibilities:
- Lead solution discovery, standards compliance workshops, and architecture design for deployment in Japan.
- Ensuring alignment with proprietary OTC architectures, global templates, Japanese localization, and core design principles.
- Acting as the design authority, approving solution deviations and ensuring governance compliance.
- Defining and managing integrated architectures across SAP and non-SAP systems (MES, PMC, legacy, third-party tools).
- Providing clear solution direction and driving build execution through implementation teams.
- Collaborating with Japanese business stakeholders, global process owners, and IT leadership.
- Guiding teams through the rollout program at each stage: blueprint, build, test, cutover, and go-live.
- Ensuring compliance with Japanese business processes, legal, audit, and control requirements.
Job Qualifications:
- Required: Experience in large-scale manufacturing/automotive industry
- Strengths: ÿ Discrete manufacturing ÿ Supply chain and production planning ÿ Quality, logistics, and cost management
- Experience with Japanese manufacturing standards and practices is a major strength.
- End-to-end SAP S/4HANA solution architecture
- Experience in implementation and support projects.
- Deep knowledge in the following areas:
- SD sales, delivery, billing, pricing, credit management, rebates, outputs, and basic functions.
- Expert in SAP SD configuration (including third-party individual POs, sales BOMs, and variant configurations).
- Experience with IDOC, LSMW, batch jobs, SAP queries, etc.
- Practical experience with order-to-cash processes (MTO, MTS scenarios). Served as a lead consultant in SAP SD module implementation and support projects.
- Should have a solid understanding of integration with other modules such as FICO, MM/LES, and PP.
- Should define and manage interface patterns (IDocs, API/OData, EDI, flat files, CPI/PI/PO), including error handling, monitoring, and performance tuning.
- Can create detailed configuration documents, process flows, test scripts, and knowledge articles.
- Should have experience creating functional specifications, coordinating with ABAP teams, and testing new features. Experience with SAP SD integration with third-party tools is required.
- Strong architectural leadership across the entire core value stream

- Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA best practices and standards-compliant approaches
- Ability to clearly articulate complex architectural decisions to senior business and IT leadership
- Proven track record in multi-vendor global deployment programs
