【募集の背景 / Purpose & Scope】
Leads the cutting-edge science of bioanalytical methods, and takes on the role of the discovery of novel biomarkers, method development and validation for PK/PD evaluation, patient stratification and interpretation of causal path in therapeutic hypothesis.
Under the supervision from BAS head and co-work with senior members in BAS, this position contributes to the creation of a value from state-of-the-art technology by developing methods for PK/Biomarker, thereby leading novel science in Astellas as an expert for bioanalysis.
This position takes on the role of measurement of candidate and/or biomarker concentration from non-clinical study to clinical trial by exploration of biomarker, method development, qualification, setting up, and troubleshoot to evaluate pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and stratification.
In addition, the position also supports other Research FUs from the point of analysis of PK and BM by leading the cutting-edge science of PK and BM measurement in non-clinical and clinical studies.

【職務の内容 / Essential Job Responsibilities】

・Produce unique methods of PK/Biomarker measurements for various types of modalities as a leading expert of analytical science on the cutting-edge technology.
・Troubleshoot candidate & biomarker measurements in clinical trial.
・Promote the creation of early projects from Research divisions by measurements of candidate & biomarker concentration to clarify PK&PD.
・Promote patient stratification and indication selection by providing stratification/disease biomarkers.
・Contribute to the early approval of development compounds by supporting application for IND and NDA regarding to candidate & biomarker measurements.
・Create strategic plan for the measurement of candidate and/or biomarker concentration for assigned program.
・Establish good working relationships and collaboration with members by providing advice or solutions for analytical issues raised from other departments.
バイオアナリティカルサイエンスに所属し、以下の業務をご担当いただきます。
・担当テーマのバイオマーカー測定計画の立案、定量法開発
・候補化合物（抗体ADAなどを含）の定量法開発
・PKおよびBMの解析結果の考察
・他部門担当者との連携による分析手法、解析法の選択、および臨床チームへの橋渡し

【応募要件 / Qualifications】
＜必須 / Required＞
・Science degree MS, or exceptional experience
・At least 3 years of experience in drug discovery research or drug discovery support activities in a pharmaceutical company, CRO, biotechnology company, or in drug discovery-related academic research.
・Hands-on experience in biomarker analysis using flow cytometry, and experience with or willingness to develop expertise in one or more of the following areas: immunohistochemistry (IHC/ISH), image analysis, ELISA, PCR, mass spectrometry, or other omics technologies (e.g., metabolomics, proteomics, and transcriptomics).
・Strong communication skills (active & passive) and the ability to collaborate effectively with scientists and subject matter experts from diverse disciplines in a global environment.

・フローサイトメトリー法を用いたBM解析の業務経験があること、それに免疫染色（IHC/ISH）、染色画像解析、ELISA、PCR、質量分析、または、メタボロミクス、プロテオミクス、およびトランスクリプトミクスなどのオミクス解析のうち、いずれかの業務経験がある、もしくはこれらの技術スキル獲得を目指す方。
・修士課程卒以上、またはそれに準ずる資格を有する
・3年以上の製薬企業、CRO、バイオテクノロジー企業等において創薬研究または創薬支援業務に従事した経験、または創薬に関連するアカデミア研究の経験
・率先して試験計画を立案し、課題解決に向けた取り組みが実施できる方
・円滑なコミュニケーションスキルを有し、多彩な専門分野の研究者・専門家との対話を通じて協業できる方。グローバルな環境でのコミュニケーションに意欲を持ち、継続的に学習できる方
＜歓迎 / Preferred＞
・Advanced science degree (PhD, PharmD, or MD)
・Experience of interacting with regulatory authorities and preparation of IND, IMPD, NDA, etc.
・Knowledge for cutting-edge bioanalytical or omics science
・Experience on reviewing the documents about study protocol for bioanalysis and performing validation for assays
・Ph.D.または相応する資格を有する方。
・質量分析装置を用いた高分子の定量経験を有する方。
・オミクス解析の経験がある方。
・規制当局対応の経験を有する方
・PK/BMの分析業務において、規制下でのレポート作成やレビューの経験があれば、なお望ましい
・業務の遂行に必要なレベルの英語力を有する方（TOEICスコア730点以上もしくは同等の英語力）
