Job Responsibilities

• Lead the development, standardization, benchmarking and continuous improvement of operation/equipment metrics, business processes and BKMs for the FE ME network.
• Govern Fab Manufacturing engineering operation ground rules.
• Proactively drive improvement by deep-diving into the root cause of Equipment Availability/Operating losses, partner with Site Manufacturing, Process and Equipment teams drive recovery and improvement.
• Forecast potential roadblocks in constraint workstation management and develop mitigation plans with the site ME Managers to increase production efficiency.
• Partner with network SIC, Equipment and Process team to improve and support BIC (Best In Class)Output, Constraint Workstation utilization, as well as NPI (New Product Introduction) and Cycle Time/Inventory Management!
• Be an Area technical global SME to optimize area operations, systems integration and to drive global standardization across all sites.
• Govern MAS change process with global alignment and deployment of scheduling enhancements and drive continuous improvement in scheduling solutions.
• Consolidate inefficiencies in operations and carry out time study to uncover opportunities for Efficiency improvement with digital transformation.
• Lead proof-of-concepts and facilitate deployment of BKM reports and automation to improve fab/area efficiency and productivity.
• Participate in the WW ME forums, facilitate area network meetings and sustain/audit existing BKMs and business processes in the network.
• Build an environment of motivation to cultivate team member’s engagement to the fullest of their potential.

Requirements

• Bachelors/Masters Degree in Engineering or related field of study or equivalent experience
• Intermediate knowledge of the 300mm semiconductor manufacturing process is preferred.
• 3 years experience in Manufacturing Engineering.
• Fluent in the basic concepts of Lean Manufacturing, Fab Capacity Management, Equipment Utilization & Line Management.
• In-depth knowledge of Micron’s MES, Scheduling System, Line Management systems and related production and planning reporting tools.
• Knowledge in SQL, Tableau, Python capability to enable automation will be an advantage.
• Lean Six Sigma Certified or Project Management certified will be preferred.
• Demonstrate initiative and tenacity to identify right collaborators and overcome obstacles to achieve objectives for various projects.
• Demonstrate success in applying their knowledge of area processes and equipment for problem solving and implementation of comprehensive solutions for all Micron sites.
• Proven track record of effective global teamwork, demonstrate good cultural awareness and agility to optimally drive alignment and use digital tools to build rapport remotely across various countries.
