Description
The Senior Security Engineer supports and strengthens OIST’s information security operations, helping protect institutional systems, data, and research activities. The role operates security controls, responds to incidents, and contributes to improving security practices and maturity across the organization.
Working within the information security team, the Security Engineer collaborates with technical and nontechnical stakeholders to manage security risks, support incident response, and embed security into daytoday operations in line with recognized standards such as ISO/IEC 27001 and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
Reporting to the Information Security Manager, the Security Engineer ensures the ongoing delivery and improvement of OIST’s information security program.

情報セキュリティチームの一員として、技術系・非技術系を含む幅広い関係者と連携し、セキュリティリスクの管理、インシデント対応、日常業務へのセキュリティ組み込みを行います。これらの業務は、ISO/IEC 27001 や NIST Cybersecurity Framework などの国際的な基準に沿って実施されます。
シニアセキュリティエンジニアは情報セキュリティマネージャーの下で、OIST の情報セキュリティプログラムの継続的な運用と改善を担います。
