Job Responsibilities:
- Development, maintenance, and enhancement of software applications for semiconductor manufacturing equipment and related systems.
- Defining requirements for lithography and other wafer process workflows, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Designing, implementing, and testing software modules using C/C++ in a Linux environment.
- Investigating and resolving software defects through debugging and root cause analysis (RCA).
- Understanding functionality and identifying areas for improvement through analysis of existing codebases and system behavior.
- Support for integration, verification, and troubleshooting activities in customer and production environments.
- Creation of technical documents (specifications, etc.) and participation in code reviews.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance software applications for semiconductor manufacturing equipment and related systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements related to lithography and other wafer process workflows.
- Design, implement, and test software modules using C/C++ in Linux environments.

- Analyze existing codebases and system behavior to understand functionality and identify improvement opportunities.

Job Qualifications:
- High-level programming skills in C/C++
- Practical experience in Linux -based development environments
- Knowledge and practical experience with relational database systems (RDBMS) such as PostgreSQL .
- The ability to accurately read, modify, and extend existing software code.
- The ability to understand legacy systems and systems without specifications through reverse engineering and code analysis.
- Skills in creating design documents using UML and flowcharts.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to lead a team (teamwork skills)
Language Skill: Native-level Japanese or JLPT N2 level or higher and Business level English (not mandatory)
