Job Responsibilities:

  • Support and manage customer-facing software activities for Lam Research's Etch and Deposition products, as well as related software applications.
  • Handle escalation responses, upgrade support, patch installations, and maintenance of the install base health at customer sites.
  • Investigate, isolate, and debug software and system-level issues through log analysis; collaborate with other engineering teams to identify root causes and drive issues to resolution.
  • Create customer-facing documentation and notification packages regarding software fixes, upgrades, and new feature introductions to facilitate effective customer communication.
  • Visit customer sites to provide hands-on software support and validation.

Job Qualifications:

  • Basic web application development experience and basic database design capabilities.
  • 3+ years of professional working experience.
  • Knowledge of back-end languages such as Python.
  • Experience using Python.
  • Reading and writing proficiency in English.

Language Skill: Business level Japanese (JLPT N2) and Business level English
