Job Description:
- This position belongs to the Fab Integrated Technology Services (FITS) team and is responsible for the installation and operation of IT infrastructure and applications related to EI-DH. FITS is a specialized team that provides technical support to customer Fabs in cooperation with the Product Group and Operations departments. *EI-DH: Equipment Intelligence-Data Hub
- As a Technical Support Engineer, you will play a role in introducing and supporting the infrastructure of advanced service products to customer Fabs and regional offices, spanning from the early stages of product development to mass production deployment. You will handle technical coordination between internal stakeholders, customers, and the customer's IT teams to ensure the smooth support of EI-DH and EI-related application servers from installation to operation.
Job Qualifications:
- Experience in Linux operations
- A strong sense of autonomy, a desire to learn new technologies, the ability to work in a remote environment, a commitment to customer satisfaction, and a collaborative team attitude are highly valued.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Linux (CentOS, Ubuntu) and Windows OS operations.
- Experience working in virtualized environments.
- Script creation and management using PowerShell.
- Basic understanding of networking.
- Knowledge of antivirus and malware countermeasures.
- Experience working in the semiconductor industry or a Fab environment is highly preferred.
- Experience with Cisco switch operations and Hyper-V management is a plus.
Language Skill: Fluent level Japanese (JLPT N1 or above) and Business level English
