Main Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities
- Manage purchase / production / transfer orders and ensure optimized inventory considering cost / service / efficiency.
- Support to SCM related and integration projects with guidance by other team members and manager, especially for ERP upgrade project.
- Coordinate / Support Sales and Operation and supply chain planning activities with guidance by other team members and managers.
- Monitor and analyze SCM KPIs with transparency and improvement activities (including local logistics area).
- Execute actions that contribute to achieving sales, profit, and growth targets by offering services that meet them which are in line with regional, country, and business unit(s) strategies, with guidance by other team members and managers.
- Communicate and corroborate with vendors / suppliers and LSP (Local Service Provider)’s to improve supply reliability and SCM flexibility/agility.
- Manage NCM (Non Conformance Management) in case of damaged purchased goods.
Job Requirements (Minimum requirement to carry out the work)
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree
- Business-level Japanese and English proficiency required
Working Experience
- 2 years in supply chain especially planning area, or 4 years in other areas with certain expertise, which are closer to material management.
Technical & Professional Knowledge
- Supply planning: Local production / Material requirement / Distribution requirement planning with suppliers, own manufacturing site, contract manufacturers or local service providers
- Demand planning / Sales & Operations planning
- Inventory management
- Logistics
- Process optimization (robustness, cost saving, efficiency improvement)
- Analytical skills
- Working knowledge of SAP R/3, S/4, APO, IBP
