Strategic Alliance Manager - APAC

The Strategic Alliances Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and growing partnerships that drive business growth, market expansion, and joint value creation. This role focuses on building long-term relationships with key partners (e.g., technology vendors, channel partners, and ecosystem players) and ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic priorities.

The team you will be part of:

You will be of the APAC Strategic Alliances team, reporting directly to the Director of Strategic Alliances APAC. You will also be working with our Japan Sales & Marketing team to help drive opportunities and envision Japan GTM framework with our alliance partners.

Key Responsibilities

1. Partnership Strategy & Development

  • Define and execute the strategic alliances roadmap aligned with business objectives
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new partners to expand the ecosystem
  • Develop business cases and partnership models (e.g., co-sell, co-market, co-develop)

2. Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key alliance partners
  • Build senior-level relationships (e.g., executives, regional leads)
  • Conduct regular business reviews (QBRs) and ensure alignment on goals and outcomes

3. Revenue Growth & Business Impact

  • Drive joint revenue targets through partner-led initiatives
  • Collaborate with sales teams to enable co-selling motions and pipeline generation
  • Track and report on partnership performance metrics (e.g., revenue, pipeline, ROI)

4. Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with sales, marketing, product, and regional teams
  • Align joint go-to-market (GTM) strategies with internal stakeholders
  • Ensure effective execution of campaigns, launches, and partner programs

5. Program Execution & Governance

  • Develop and manage alliance frameworks, processes, and KPIs
  • Ensure accountability on both sides for deliverables and milestones
  • Manage contracts, agreements, and compliance with partners

6. Market & Ecosystem Insights

  • Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and partner strategies
  • Identify new opportunities for collaboration and innovation
  • Provide insights to leadership on partnership investments and priorities

Key Skills & Qualifications

Experience

  • 5–10+ years in strategic alliances, partnerships, business development, or sales
  • Experience working with global technology partners (e.g., Microsoft, Zoom, Google, etc.)
  • Proven track record of driving measurable business growth through partnerships

Skills

  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Strategic thinking with ability to execute operationally
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Data-driven decision-making and performance tracking
  • Ability to manage complex, multi-market partnerships

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field

  • Partner-driven revenue and pipeline contribution

  • Number and impact of joint GTM initiatives
  • Partner satisfaction and engagement levels
  • Achievement of alliance-specific objectives and milestones
