Job Summary

Nihon TetraPak is seeking an open-minded and highly motivated professional to strengthen its CIR System Support team.
We are looking for a System Support Associate who will provide technical consulting and expert support for Tetra Brik filling machine systems.
In this role, you will contribute to building organizational competence, managing transferred technical issues, and driving continuous system and equipment improvements based on performance data.
The position can be based in Gotemba or Tokyo, Japan.

What you will do

As a System Support Associate, you will:

  • Lead the deployment of next-generation filling machines in Japan and other markets
  • Apply automation expertise and work as an ARA Expert
  • Support installation projects with system-specific expertise, focusing on NPI and MC readiness
  • Audit filling lines and drive performance improvement initiatives
  • Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis using established problem-solving methodologies
  • Build and maintain strong technical networks at both regional and global levels
  • Provide support and share expertise with TetraPak colleagues and Customer
  • Support KA teams in business opportunity analysis
  • Support field testing activities for CS and PS
  • Identify technical issues and drive containment solutions
  • Perform Technical Assistance Reporting, including QuTI-P, during all related activities

We believe you have

  • A self-motivated attitude with a high degree of initiative
  • +3 years of experience in installation, maintenance, and service work on A1/A3/E3 machine systems
  • A strong customer-focused mindset
  • Experience combining customer management with technical discussions and negotiations
  • Good leadership skills
  • The ability to mentor and coach peers
  • Willingness to travel domestically within Japan and internationally
  • Fluency in Japanese, both written and spoken
  • Working-level technical English proficiency; candidates with a strong motivation to improve their English are welcome
