Job Responsibilities:
- Design and validate automotive embedded software and execute technical solutions.
- Perform software validation, verification, and testing activities.
- Analyze test results, investigate root causes of issues, propose improvements, and contribute to quality enhancement.
- Create and maintain design specifications, validation reports, and technical documentation.
- Review English design specifications and technical documents from overseas development sites and prepare localized Japanese documentation.
- Communicate and coordinate technical matters, design specifications, and validation results with overseas development teams (mainly China and France).
- Conduct design and validation activities in accordance with internal development standards and processes.
- Improve development efficiency by utilizing digital engineering tools.
- Analyze technical issues, promote quality improvements, and propose new technologies and methodologies.
- Contribute to intellectual property activities, including patent proposals.
- Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to junior engineers.
- Execute validation activities while considering project schedules and budgets.
Job Qualification:
- 5+ years of experience in System Validation
- Able to independently develop validation methods and execute testing.
- Experience using CANoe.
- Experience with automotive components.
- Knowledge of CAN (Controller Area Network).
- English: Daily conversational to business level.
- Comfortable communicating with the teams in China and France.
- Japanese: Business level.
- Required for meetings, documentation, and communication with Japanese OEM customers.
Preferred Qualification:
- Educational background in Electronics, Telecommunications, or related fields.
- Practical experience using CAN.
- Candidates currently working in system design who wish to transition into validation are also welcome.
Language proficiency: Business Level Japanese (JLPT N2) and Business Level english.
