Talent Acquisition Specialist (Future HRBP Path)

Position Summary

Lead and execute end-to-end Talent Acquisition activities across new graduate, mid-career, disability, and early talent hiring to support business growth and workforce planning objectives.
Beyond recruitment, this role plays an important part in shaping the employee experience through onboarding, retention, employee engagement, and HR initiatives. The successful candidate will gain broad exposure to HR operations and business partnering activities, creating a strong foundation for future growth into an HR Business Partner (HRBP) role.
This position offers frequent collaboration with business leaders, hiring managers, and Global/APAC HR teams in a dynamic and international environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Talent Acquisition
    ・Lead full-cycle recruitment for new graduate, mid-career, disability, and other strategic hiring programs
    ・Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce planning needs and build effective hiring strategies
    ・Manage requisitions and recruitment activities from sourcing through offer acceptance
    ・Source and assess candidates through various channels including direct sourcing, employee referrals, universities, agencies, and professional networks
    ・Coordinate and facilitate interview processes while ensuring a positive candidate experience
    ・Monitor recruiting effectiveness through metrics and data analysis and recommend continuous improvements
    ・Support employer branding initiatives and strengthen relationships with universities, vocational schools, employment agencies, and community partners
    ・Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment regulations
    ・Plan and manage Internal Job Posting (IJP) programs as needed
  • Onboarding & Employee Experience
    ・Design and facilitate onboarding programs to accelerate employee integration and productivity
    ・Develop and manage retention initiatives, including mentoring and new hire follow-up programs
    ・Partner with managers to enhance employee experience and new hire engagement
    ・Support onboarding and employee experience programs for contingent workforce populations where applicable
  • HR Projects & Business Partnership Exposure
    ・Support employee engagement, internal communication, and DEI initiatives
    ・Participate in cross-functional HR projects and organizational initiatives
    ・Collaborate with Global and APAC Talent Acquisition teams to share best practices and align recruitment strategies
    ・Provide insights and recommendations through workforce and hiring data analysis
    ・Gain exposure to broader HR disciplines including employee relations, talent management, organizational development, and workforce planning

Requirements:

  • Required
    ・Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
    ・3+ years of experience in corporate Talent Acquisition or Recruiting
    ・Proven experience managing full-cycle recruitment independently
    ・Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
    ・Excellent communication and relationship-building capabilities
    ・Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
    ・Business-level proficiency in both English and Japanese
    ・Data-driven mindset with strong problem-solving skills
    ・Experience leveraging AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, or business processes
    ・Relocation to Aizu and on-site work at the Aizu facility are required
    ・Valid work authorization that permits employment in Japan at the time of application
    ・No visa sponsorship available for this position
  • Preferred
    ・Experience in manufacturing, technology, or semiconductor industries
    ・Experience recruiting engineering, technical, or specialized professional talent
    ・Experience supporting onboarding, employee engagement, or other HR initiatives beyond recruitment
    ・Knowledge of Japanese labor laws and HR practices
    ・Experience with HRIS platforms such as Oracle HCM
    ・Experience collaborating with regional or global teams
    ・Aspiration to develop a broader HR career and grow into an HR Business Partner role
