Job Summary:

Talent Services (TS) Recruitment Team supports a specific Region/ Country and acts as part of the extended Region Recruitment team. TS works in a fully integrated way with onshore Recruitment colleagues participating in meetings, projects and planning activities as part of one team. The Team supports the Region in performing operational and administrative tasks to allow the onshore team to focus on consultative and strategic activities based on the priorities of the Region.

This is a hands-on recruitment administration role, supporting the EY Ireland Student Recruitment team. EY’s student recruitment team is responsible for attracting top talent for all EY early careers programmes such as the EY Summer Internship, Work Placement and Graduate Programme, resulting in over 600 new hires per year.

As a Student Recruitment Administrator, you will support our Recruiters on the end-to-end student recruitment journey. Day to day, your role will include screening new applicants; supporting candidates through daily queries; maintaining essential recruitment systems, documentation, and trackers; Interview scheduling; processing offers and onboarding student hires; In addition to this, you will be empowered to support other team members and talent attraction initiatives throughout our campaign cycles as required; Maintaining accurate recruitment and hiring data is essential in this role, so attention to detail and comfort with managing large volumes of data will set you up for success; This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative, high-performing team with a focus on innovation and recruitment excellence in the early careers space.

Essential Functions of the Job:

Responsibilities:

  • Managing day to day queries from candidates and internal stakeholders via the Student Recruitment Shared Mailbox
  • Maintaining candidate data via internal applicant tracking systems (ATS); ensuring all candidate data is accurate and always updated throughout the candidate journey
  • Screening large volumes of applicants while keeping your recruiter and operations lead up to date on candidate progress
  • Interview scheduling and managing changes as they arise to ensure a positive candidate experience
  • Processing offer letters for successful candidates and tracking responses
  • Gathering and maintaining onboarding documentation for all new joiners across a multitude of student programmes, ensuring appropriate verification checks are carried out
  • Supporting the planning and facilitation of various student programmes, engagement events and inductions
  • Supporting other ad hoc recruitment admin such as processing of invoices for student recruitment related events

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

  • Basic understanding of the recruitment process and candidate management
  • Maintains strict discretion and confidentiality
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
  • Demonstrated organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks at once
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively as part of a wider team when needed
  • Experience and comfort in adapting to change
  • Resilience and the ability to work under pressure in a complex business

Job Requirements:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record
  • Minimum of 2 years of progressive work experience of working in HR in professional services or corporate environment, preferred
  • Demonstrated experience using recruitment technologies and applicant tracking systems
  • Advanced Excel skills, with proficiency and experience in managing large volumes of data
  • Excellent communication, time management and teamworking skills
  • Working in international and diverse environments
