Managing ConsultantまたはPrincipal Consultantとして、ERMのSafety & Riskチーム（アジア太平洋地域、特に日本）における事業および技術領域をリードします。技術的卓越性の向上、事業成長の推進、人材育成を担うシニアリーダーシップポジションです。戦略的マネジメント、クライアントエンゲージメント、高度な専門知識を組み合わせながら、石油・ガス、化学、ハイテク業界を中心としたクライアントに対し、世界水準の安全・リスクソリューションを提供します。

主な業務内容
1. リーダーシップ・人材マネジメント

2. 事業開発・顧客マネジメント
- 日本市場におけるSafety & Riskサービスの成長戦略策定および実行
- クライアントとの関係構築・拡大によるリピート案件創出
- 提案書作成および新規・既存顧客向けの営業活動リード
- ビジネス課題やリスク、成長機会の特定と提案
3. プロジェクトマネジメント
- 国際基準に準拠した複雑かつ学際的なプロジェクトの統括
- スコープ、予算、スケジュール管理および品質確保
- チームへの適切な業務委任と若手コンサルタントの育成
- クライアントおよびERM双方へのコミットメント達成
4. 技術指導・専門性発揮
- 成果物のTechnical Reviewerとして品質を確保
- 業界ベストプラクティスおよび規制要件との整合性を確認
- 日本国内の法規制および国際基準に関する知見の維持・向上
- 石油・ガス、化学、ハイテク分野における危険源・リスク評価の技術支援
- 探査、生産、精製、物流施設におけるリスクアセスメントの実施
応募資格
必須要件
- 化学工学、機械工学、プロセス工学等の学士号
- 修士号または関連資格保有者歓迎
- Safety & Risk Engineering分野で9～13年以上の実務経験
- 石油・ガス、化学、ハイテク業界経験者歓迎
- 以下の技術領域に関する高い専門性
- PHA（Process Hazard Analysis）
- HAZID
- HAZOP
- QRA（Quantitative Risk Assessment）
- Bow-Tie Analysis
- SIL Study
- Consequence Modelling（影響解析）
- チームマネジメントおよび人材育成経験
- 複雑なプロジェクトのマネジメント経験
- 事業開発およびクライアントマネジメント経験
- 優れた課題解決能力およびコミュニケーション能力

語学要件

Job Summary
As a Managing or Principal Consultant, you will lead ERM’s Safety & Risk team in Asia Pacific, especially in Japan, driving technical excellence, business growth, and team development. This senior leadership role combines strategic oversight, client engagement, and technical expertise to deliver world-class safety and risk solutions across oil & gas, chemical, and high-tech sectors.

Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership & People Management
- Build and lead a technically strong Safety & Risk team, ensuring continuous improvement through mentoring and knowledge sharing.
- Drive staff development, training, engagement, and retention initiatives.
- Foster collaboration across ERM’s regional practices and create a culture of Health & Safety that ensures incident-free operations.
- Mentor team members to become future leaders and effective Safety & Risk consultants.
2. Business Development & Client Management
- Develop and execute a business strategy to grow ERM’s Safety & Risk services in Japan.
- Build and expand client relationships to generate repeat business and strategic growth.
- Prepare technical proposals and lead business development efforts with existing and new clients.
- Demonstrate strong business acumen to identify risks, challenges, and corporate opportunities.
3. Project Management & Delivery
- Manage complex technical and interdisciplinary projects to international standards, ensuring commitments to clients and ERM are met.
- Oversee project scope, budget, and schedule while maintaining ERM’s quality standards.
- Appropriately delegate assignments and mentor junior staff to deliver high-quality outputs.
4. Technical Guidance & Expertise
- Act as Technical Reviewer for project deliverables, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Stay updated on Japanese regulations and international standards relevant to oil & gas, chemical, and high-tech sectors.
- Provide technical expertise in hazard and risk assessments for exploration, production, refining, and distribution facilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering (Master’s or professional certification preferred).
- 9–13 years in Safety & Risk Engineering, ideally in oil & gas, chemical, or high-tech sectors.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in PHA, HAZID, HAZOP, QRA, Bow-Tie Analysis, SIL studies, and consequence modelling.
- Proven ability to lead teams, mentor staff, and manage complex projects.
- Experience in business development, client engagement, and delivering strategic growth.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills in English; ability to present technical concepts clearly.
- Strong commitment to Health & Safety, flexibility to travel, and ability to work independently.
- Fluent Japanese (JLPT N1 or equivalent)
- Business-level English proficiency
