Our Team
The Bloomberg Engineering Communication’s team oversees the design, procurement, and delivery of telecommunication services for Bloomberg and its customers. We're responsible for Telecom Service Provider relationships to design, order, and support over 20,000 unique connections globally. We work collaboratively with our Network Engineering and Technical Support teams to design and order connectivity for Bloomberg and our customers.
Once installed, we support our existing connectivity through active management of Service Providers when challenges arise. This includes supporting escalation calls, design reviews, route and service documentation, provider follow-ups, invoice approvals, network audits, and operational reporting. We're also involved in proof-of-concept product and design testing with our Network Engineering team and in initiatives that support Bloomberg data centers, infrastructure modernization, automation, analytics platforms, and AI-supported systems.
What’s the role?
We're looking for a colleague to join the Telecom team within APAC. This role is ideal for someone who is early in their career and interested in developing expertise across Telecommunications, service provider management, network infrastructure, analytics, and process improvement.
Some telecom experience is highly preferred, but what is most important is that you demonstrate curiosity, strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a clear interest in learning about the telecom industry and the critical role connectivity plays in Bloomberg's global infrastructure. You will support core running-the-business requirements while helping the team strengthen its analytics capability, improve operational insight, and enhance workflow efficiency, documentation quality, and compliance/audit readiness.
You will partner with peers across our APAC & global offices, which means you will need to take ownership of your tasks while being proactive in reaching out for guidance and support.
We'll trust you to:
  • Support day-to-day telecom service delivery activities, including quote requests, order tracking, provisioning updates, provider follow-ups, service documentation, and invoice approval workflows
  • Coordinate with telecom service providers, internal Engineering teams, Finance, Implementation, and Support teams to clarify requirements, resolve blockers, and keep work moving in a timely and organized way
  • Maintain accurate operational records across telecom inventory, order status, provider information, service details, commercial data, and documentation
  • Support post-delivery service management by helping track provider escalations, service issues, recurring problems, and follow-up actions through to resolution
  • Use data to improve operational visibility across quotes, orders, inventory, invoice approvals, provider performance, escalations, and workflow status
  • Analyze operational data to identify patterns, delays, data-quality issues, recurring provider challenges, or opportunities to improve how work is tracked and delivered
  • Build confidence with reporting tools, spreadsheets, dashboards, and structured data so the team can make better decisions and improve the accuracy of operational records
  • Bring curiosity and a continuous-improvement mindset, using data, automation, and practical process improvements to make daily telecom operations more efficient, reliable, and scalable

You'll need to have:
  • 2-6 years of experience in Telecom operations, network infrastructure, service delivery, data center operations, carrier support, or a related operational environment
  • Interest in telecom service delivery, including how connectivity services are quoted, ordered, provisioned, documented, billed, and supported
  • Good attention to detail and an organized approach to managing tasks, documentation, data, and follow-ups
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to work with internal stakeholders, service providers, and colleagues across different locations and cultures
  • Comfort working with spreadsheets, reporting tools, documentation platforms, ticketing systems, or similar business applications
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and ask for support or clarification when needed
  • A proactive mindset, with curiosity, accountability, and a desire to improve how work is done
  • Ability to work with peers as part of a regionally distributed team
We’d love to see:
  • Understanding of networking or telecom concepts such as WAN, Ethernet, Internet services, cloud connectivity, data centers, circuits, routing, diversity, or service providers
  • Familiarity with tools such as Qlik or other analytics and reporting tools
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to work with data, identify patterns, summarize findings, and communicate insights clearly
  • Experience with AI-assisted tools and practical application for AI-supported workflows, data quality, process improvement, documentation management, or operational reporting
  • Experience using tools such as JIRA or similar platforms for task tracking, documentation, or reporting
  • Exposure to project coordination, business analysis, audit support, invoice review, procurement support, or operational controls
