Description
The Vice President of Consulting Services Japan is accountable for business management; reference-able executive level business relationships with clients; the definition and delivery of Consulting engagements that meet project timeline, quality, profit, and client satisfaction objectives. Responsible for successful delivery of large and/or multiple projects across the region.

Your Responsibilities Include
- Lead the Consulting teams to effectively manage all strategic operational processes and resourcing, and leading the organization in order to achieve and maintain operational excellence
- Influence multiple large cross-functional teams and communicate with senior management to facilitate projects and ensure performance meets goals consistently
- Work closely with Sales to develop strategies to support the development of the SaaS business in Japan
- Work closely with IMS and Customer Success in support of clients in Run Phase
- Provide strong leadership to team including developing and monitoring individual and team performance goals, coaching managers and senior individual contributors, and driving major change initiatives
- Manage the project timelines and pipeline to ensure all ongoing deliverables are met and executed within agreed Customer Agreements
- Ensures projects are completed within committed time and budget and are integrated with other business and related projects
- Drive all customized people engagement initiatives and partner with HR organization and implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated team
- Play key role in identification of bottlenecks in the existing operational processes and lead process innovation initiatives
- Play key role to introduce new global methodologies and motions into the Japan region
- Design and lead initiatives and programs focused on achieving best-in-class status and improving customer and employee satisfaction
- Develops and implements communication and reporting mechanisms to manage issues, risks and timely delivery of initiative results
- Drive the performance base metrics reporting, process improvement projects and quality certification
- Monitor and manage escalations; conduct appropriate trend analysis as needed and devise strategies or process improvements to reduce them to almost zero level
- Report to leadership team in weekly operations reviews
Basic Qualifications:
- Demonstrated leadership experience leading a Professional Services/Consulting organization
- Deep understanding and knowledge of services industry and enterprise software services, ideally some cloud-based experience
- Previous experience with full P & L responsibilities
- Excellent oral, written, cross functional and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent people manager, open to direction and collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done
- Strong business acumen, with proven ability to leverage knowledge base to quickly come up to speed in new business areas and new types of projects
- Possesses a thorough knowledge of the interdependencies among service operations business units and matrix partners.
- Demonstrated ability to drive results required.
