Working as an Account Coordinator at Uber means solving hard problems in a high-stakes, fast-moving environment. What you’ll do
- Build and grow long-term partnerships by understanding what matters most to our customers, moving beyond simple administrative support to become a strategic ally.
- Navigate ambiguity and internal complexity to unlock value for merchants, coordinating across catalog, operations, and growth teams to unblock barriers to success.
- Solve messy, high-impact problems by gathering and interpreting business performance metrics from multiple data sources, even when the data isn't perfectly structured.
- Manage the details that matter, from executing end-to-end promotional campaigns and merchandising to overseeing financial tasks like invoicing and overdue account follow-ups.
- Adapt your approach based on market dynamics and partner needs, conducting deep-dives and business reviews to propose actionable growth plans.
- Own your work end-to-end, maintaining high accuracy and speed while managing multiple accounts in a fast-changing environment.
Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional experience in commercial roles, B2B operations, or account management (Retail, CPG, or consulting preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for complex data manipulation and analysis.
- Bachelor's degree
- Native proficiency in Japanese (written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications
- Business proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholder interests across cross-functional internal teams and partner organizations.
- Experience using CRM tools like Salesforce to manage daily activities and track account health.
- Strong storytelling skills with the ability to use data to influence client decisions and close commercial opportunities.
- Resilience and a self-driven mindset, with a track record of translating high-level strategy into tangible results.
