Job Responsibilities:
- Execute xILS (MILS, SILS, HILS) and bench tests, and compile test results.
- Build and maintain xILS (MILS, SILS, HILS) and test bench environments.
- Create and manage test cases.
- Build trust with customers through on-site support.
- Promote optimization and automation of the test process.
Job Qualifications & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in the automotive or mobility industry.
- Experience and track record in verifying embedded systems in the automotive industry.
- Experience building MILS/SILS/HILS environments and using them for verification/calibration.
- Experience in software module validation using Google Test.
- Understanding of vehicle protocols: CAN, LIN, CAN-FD, CAN-XL, FlexRay, Ethernet, etc.
- Experience using vehicle protocol analysis tools such as CANalyzer, CANape, CANoe, or similar tools.
- Understanding and experience with C/C++ and Python.
- Ability to communicate effectively with client stakeholders and vendors.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively within a team.
- Proactive, flexible, and enthusiastic approach to self-development and mentoring younger colleagues.
- Systematic, structured, and logical thinking skills and excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of the latest testing methods and tools, with the ability to implement and apply them.
- Practical skills in MS Office tools including Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Word.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant technical degree or equivalent experience in systems engineering, software engineering, or mechanical engineering.
- Track record of providing technical support for AD/ADAS-related products and services.
- Knowledge and experience with ISO 26262, A-SPICE, and AutoSAR.
- Experience in creating plant models.
- Experience with system modeling using SysML.
- Experience and track record in test automation.
- Knowledge and experience of agile development methodologies and DevOps.
- ISTQB/JSTQB qualification.
- Security testing experience.
Language & Communication Skills: Business level Japanese (JLPT N3 and higher) and Business level English
