About the Role:


RWE is one of global largest company to decarbonize the society as the World No.2 offshore wind power generator. Following the win of the recent auction to secure the offshore project in Japan, RWE Renewables (RWER) Japan team is expanding and is therefore looking for an experienced, highly motivated and confident Coordinator to support the Regulatory Affairs team in public matters as well as regulatory research in our Tokyo office. Particularly, we are looking for an innovative individual with a growth mindset to join a fast expanding team in a diverse and multicultural environment, to form part of our larger regional and global organization. The Coordinator is primary responsible to ensure the smooth coordination with industrial association where RWE takes a leadership role at the committee. As a collaborative role for the team, you also have opportunities of exposure to external stakeholders such as government officials and industrial leaders.


Your Future Plans:

As Regulatory Affairs Coordinator you are overall responsible to working:

  • Support for secretariat work in industry association (REASP), such as expanding membership, registering members and providing information to members
  • Administrative support and coordination of the holding of general meetings, board and committee meetings of REASP as well as events held by REASP
  • Support and coordination of REASP's government outreaching activities
  • Support for the administration of REASP offshore wind committee
  • Assistance for the research on policies and issues related to offshore wind and renewable energy
  • Administrative support for the inquiry and report to the government with respect to the ongoing projects
  • Supervising the delivery of outsourced monthly regulatory report and its translation
  • Attendance to industry associations’ committees and other related events for collecting necessary information
  • Administrative liaison with member industry associations and management and internal sharing of association materials
  • Administrative support for the external event which the company sponsored or invited

Your profile:

  • At least 2 years of working experience in coordination or administrative positions
  • Willingness to work closely with external stakeholders (i.e. governmental officials, external partners)
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality
  • Advanced interpersonal and people management skills
  • High organizational skills with the ability to prioritize in a diverse and complex environment
  • Proactive and independent way of working, anticipating, high flexibility and adaptability
  • Advanced computer skills including the MS Office suite
  • Good team player with a desire to work in a diverse international team
  • Fluency language skills in Japanese required, in English is beneficial
  • Work experience in an international setting is a significant advantage
