Description

As a Business Development Manager on the Worldwide Attach Ecosystem team, you will drive growth of Apple attach products — including Apple Accessories, Beats, and AppleCare — across Japan’s channel partners. You’ll own the full lifecycle: building sales programs that maximize revenue through digital and physical channels, and bringing those programs to life through merchandising, marketing, and in-store experiences that set the standard for how customers discover and buy these products. This role blends commercial strategy with hands-on program execution, requiring someone equally comfortable negotiating with retail partners and briefing a creative agency on fixture design.

Preferred Qualifications

Deep familiarity with consumer electronics and audio industry trends, including sales and marketing tools and strategies.
Demonstrated ability to connect business objectives with effective, customer-facing solutions.
Strong aptitude for identifying key insights, cutting through complexity, and defining the right strategic path quickly.

Minimum Qualifications

Experience in business development, account management, or marketing communications (agency or in-house).
Track record working with Japan’s major consumer electronics retailers and/or carriers.
Demonstrated project management capability in a sales or marketing function.
Strong negotiation, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills — comfortable operating across senior leadership, retail buyers, and front-line staff.
Ability to drive programs independently within a complex, matrixed organization; comfortable with ambiguity.
Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
Bilingual and bicultural in Japanese and English.
Ability to travel domestically (~25%) and occasionally internationally.
