Your team
You will be working in the Fund Reporting Team in Asset Management, Japan. The team is mainly responsible for producing and distributing factsheets and monthly, quarterly, annual, and statutory reports for Japan-domiciled and foreign-domiciled funds in Japan. We work with numbers, data, market commentaries, and reporting materials, covering all aspects of report preparation and delivery.
In addition to delivering day-to-day reporting activities, the team is also working to improve processes and develop its future operating model. This role is expected not only to support current reporting activities, but also to contribute to change and transformation through collaboration with internal and regional stakeholders.
Your expertise
•Experience in fund reporting, operations, documentation, or related functions.
•Solid understanding of day-to-day reporting activities, including factsheets, periodic reports, and reporting workflows.
•Interest in or willingness to contribute to process improvement, process change, automation, and transformation-related initiatives.
•Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional and regional stakeholders.
•Proactive mindset with adaptability and willingness to take on new responsibilities and evolving business requirements.
•Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills; VBA, Power Query, or other technical/automation skills would be an advantage.
•Familiarity with financial products, asset management, and fund reporting processes is preferred.
•Proficiency in Japanese and the ability to communicate effectively in English.
• You’re curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment – validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use.
