Compliance Manager
Business:
A fully owned subsidiary of the premium cars and motorcycles brand to provide financial services for the brand
Your Responsibilities:
In order to protect the integrity of the company group, its assets, customers and employees, the Local Compliance Officer is responsible for developing, setting up, maintaining and operating an effective local Compliance Management System in support of the Compliance responsible as specified in the CEO / CFO role model and in accordance with the Compliance headquarter functions.
➢ Key accountabilities of the function
* Support business line to implement measures to ensure full compliance with local and BMW Group's legal and compliance requirements.
* Responsible to implement compliance processes, controls, tools and IT-systems.
* Responsible to identify/monitor compliance risks in the company and implement necessary measures to mitigate the risk.
* Responsible to maintain and update internal regulations to comply with changes in law or regulations in Japan or the HQ guidelines.
* Compliance case management including management of compliance measures.
* Regular and ad-hoc compliance reporting to local management board, compliance HQ functions and relevant local supervisory authorities.
* Monitor business operations for compliance with local regulations and the company group standard.
* Ensures internal/external Compliance audit are conducted smoothly and follow-up internally are done timely.
* Prepare and submit relevant reports/documents to the authorities.
* Maintain business licenses and corporate secretarial documents.
* Conduct employees training/activities to meet the legal/compliance requirements.
* Regular compliance communication towards employees.
* Work with HQ functions in support of local compliance officer
Minimum Qualifications:
* More than 5 years of working experience in corporate legal practices
* 2 years or more working experience at a local law firm and International business experience are preferred.
