Overview
International SOS is seeking a Japanese- English Bilingual Consulting Engagement Manager to support the growth and delivery of Health & Security Consulting services in Japan. This role combines client engagement, business development support, project management, and operational coordination, working closely with regional and local stakeholders to drive consulting success and business growth.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the growth of consulting services by identifying opportunities within existing and prospective clients.
- Collaborate with Business Development and Account Management teams to develop proposals, pricing, and client engagement strategies.
- Coordinate consulting projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery, stakeholder communication, and quality outcomes.
- Manage consultant scheduling, resource allocation, project tracking, and operational processes.
- Support marketing initiatives, webinars, client events, and localization of consulting solutions for the Japanese market.
- Act as a key liaison between clients, consultants, sales teams, and regional consulting leadership.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required; relevant disciplines such as Business, International Relations, Risk Management, Security Studies, or Political Science preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in consulting, project management, customer success, business operations, professional services, or related fields.
- Strong project coordination, stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills.
- Native-level Japanese and business-fluent English.
- Experience in a multinational environment and familiarity with CRM systems is preferred.
- Interest or experience in security, risk management, crisis management, resilience, or consulting services is highly desirable.
