We are looking for a Technical Lead to support a Global SOC (Security Operations Center) project for a major pharmaceutical company.
In this role, you will work closely with Project Managers and global teams to lead the operation, enhancement, and continuous improvement of security platforms including SIEM, EDR, and SASE solutions. You will play a key role in strengthening the client's global security posture by driving technical initiatives, security improvements, and the deployment of new security solutions.
This is a customer-facing role that requires strong technical understanding, stakeholder management, and the ability to collaborate with multicultural teams across different regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support global SOC operations.
- Manage and continuously improve SIEM, EDR, and SASE environments.
- Identify security gaps and recommend improvement initiatives.
- Participate in the design, deployment, and implementation of new security solutions.
- Work closely with customers, project managers, and global delivery teams.
- Provide technical guidance and support during security projects.
- Coordinate with offshore and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Support ongoing security monitoring, incident response, and operational improvements.
- Contribute to future cybersecurity projects as a Technical Architect or other leadership roles based on business needs and career aspirations.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience in IT infrastructure, network engineering, system administration, cybersecurity operations, or related IT domains.
- Understanding of security technologies such as SIEM, EDR, SASE, IAM, Network Security, Cloud Security, or SOC operations.
- Experience managing or supporting enterprise IT environments.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Experience working in multicultural or global project environments.
- Leadership skills with the ability to coordinate technical teams and drive project objectives.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in SOC, Managed Security Services (MSS), or cybersecurity operations.
- Experience with cybersecurity product implementation or pre-sales activities.
- Knowledge of cloud security, vulnerability management, governance, risk & compliance (GRC), or incident response.
- Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GIAC/SANS, Security+, or equivalent.
- Experience in Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing, High-Tech, or Financial Services industries.
