Job Responsibilities:
- Work across multiple projects between Japan and India.
- Work with clients and their project managers to understand complex requirements, where applicable, and coordinate with offshore teams.
- While each client PM will directly work with offshore teams, resolve issues by meeting face-to-face in Japan.
- In case of proposals, act as pre-sales and explain the proposal that has come from offshore.
- Provide inputs to offshore teams for proposals through onsite meetings with clients.
- In case of certain deliveries from offshore, test the deliverables onsite before delivering them to the client through random sampling.
- Coordinate between Japan-based clients and India-based offshore teams.
- Apply hands-on technical knowledge across the end-to-end ecosystem of cloud hosting, security, and related areas.
- Understand application development and technical concepts, although coding is not expected.
Job Qualification:
- Strong technical background.
- Application development background.
- Good understanding of the end-to-end technology ecosystem of cloud hosting, security, etc., and not just development.
- 20+ years of Japan-based experience.
- Experience working at client sites.
- Experience working with diverse teams.
- Experience working with onsite–offshore teams.
- Understanding of GitHub.
- Understanding of how to use Jenkins.
- Understanding of CI-CD (Continuous Integration – Continuous Development).
- Strong technical experience with an application development background.
Language Skills: Native level Japanese and Business level English
