Department Overview
Established in February 2026, the DX Solution Sales Section provides innovative DX solutions to our clients by leveraging the diverse assets of the Rakuten Group. Our offerings include SaaS solutions for mobile utilization, MDM, security services, Rakuten AI (generative AI software), robotics, embedded devices bundled with Rakuten Mobile connectivity, and various hardware such as smartphones, tablets, and PCs.

The DX Solution Sales Section consists of four sales groups, each dedicated to specific focus industries: Hospitality, Food & Beverage, Nursing Care, Healthcare, Retail, and Government/Public Sector. The DX Promotion Group is a planning team that supports these sales groups across the board, rather than belonging to a specific industry. By supporting sales activities from a bird's-eye view of all industries, you will be able to experience both business growth and personal development.

The DX Solution Sales Section , newly established on February 1, 2026, specializes in these DX solutions and is actively pursuing various initiatives to accelerate their growth. We are looking to strengthen our team to support our sales representatives and are seeking individuals who can bring fresh, innovative ideas that transcend traditional methods.
Position Details
You will be engaged in the following tasks to support the activities of our sales representatives and drive the expansion of DX solution sales handled by Rakuten Mobile:
- Designing reports, aggregating sales figures, and creating materials for progress reporting in various meetings.
- Designing and managing operations for tracking sales activity progress.
- Gathering market trends and competitor information, and providing support for sales strategy development.
- Collaborating with relevant departments such as Service Development, Marketing, and Sales Planning.
- Designing operations to improve sales administrative efficiency.
Promoting planning tasks related to the entire DX Solution Sales Section .
Work Environment
The DX Solution Sales Section is home to over 20 mid-career professionals, primarily from the IT and mobile industries. Our team members leverage their diverse experiences to drive projects forward.
The DX Promotion Group currently consists of two mid-career hires. They come from various backgrounds, and even those with limited prior experience in planning roles feel comfortable and supported in our open and communicative culture.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Experience in sales (B2B or B2C) or experience in managing sales figures.
- Basic PC skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
- TOEIC score of 800 or higher.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in solution sales for IoT devices, cloud services, or SaaS.
- Experience in project planning and management.
- Experience in aggregating and managing sales data using IT tools (e.g., Excel, Salesforce, DOMO).
- A proactive mindset to take on challenges beyond assigned responsibilities and initiate new projects.
- Experience working in collaboration and cooperation with department heads and stakeholders to achieve common goals.
- Experience in anticipating and addressing the needs of internal and external customers to continuously enhance the customer experience.
