These responsibilities include some of the following:- Lead and deliver evidence synthesis projects, including systematic literature reviews, targeted reviews, and meta-analyses to support HTA and economic models.- Manage development and submission of Japan HTA dossiers, aligning strategy with internal stakeholders and local requirements.- Design and oversee health economic analyses and support pricing and cost-effectiveness discussions.- Coordinate cross-functional teams and external vendors to deliver studies on time, on budget, and to quality standards.- Monitor HTA policy and stakeholder landscape in Japan and translate insights into proactive evidence plans.- Prepare clear, concise outputs for internal and external audiences, including technical reports, presentations and manuscripts.Why You?Basic QualificationWe are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals- Master’s degree or higher in health economics, pharmacoepidemiology, public health, epidemiology, biostatistics, pharmacy, or related discipline.- At least 3 years of relevant experience in HEOR, HTA submissions, real-world evidence, or market access in Japan.- Demonstrated experience in conducting evidence synthesis (SLRs, meta-analysis) and applying results to HTA and models.- Practical knowledge of Japan healthcare, reimbursement and HTA processes.- Strong project management skills, including managing timelines, budgets, vendors and multiple stakeholders.- Fluent Japanese and strong English communication skills, written and verbal.Preferred QualificationIf you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus- PhD or advanced research experience in health economics, pharmacoepidemiology or related fields.- Experience developing and adapting health economic models for HTA submissions.- Familiarity with Japanese pricing rules and local HTA frameworks.- Track record of publications or conference presentations in HEOR or real-world evidence.- Experience building relationships with HTA bodies, clinical experts, and payer advisors.- Experience working in a matrixed, global environment across local and regional teams.Working arrangementThis role is hybrid, based in Japan with a mix of office and remote work.
