shape the food identity of ZEST from the ground up

206 keys, private villas, destination restaurants and bars, a Pool Club, wellness facilities and a global entertainment partnership , ZEST will combine luxury hospitality with the creative and social energy of Ibiza. Food and beverage will be central to the ZEST experience, making this a key appointment within our pre-opening leadership team. The Opportunity As
Executive Chef , you will take overall responsibility for the culinary direction and kitchen operations across the resort. Working closely with the Director of Food & Beverage and wider leadership team, you will develop the culinary identity of ZEST and translate it into exceptional guest experiences across our restaurants, bars, Pool Club, in-room dining and events. You will have the opportunity to influence everything from
menu development and local sourcing to kitchen culture, recruitment and commercial performance . Key responsibilities will include: Developing and delivering the overall culinary vision for ZEST Creating menus that reflect
Mediterranean and Ibicenco influences
while remaining commercially relevant to an international luxury audience Championing local and regional produce, including relationships with
Ibizan and Balearic suppliers Leading culinary operations across multiple resort outlets Recruiting, developing and inspiring a high-performing international culinary team Establishing kitchen systems, standards and ways of working ahead of opening Working closely with F&B leadership on restaurant concepts, pricing and guest experience Managing food costs, labour, purchasing, productivity and departmental budgets Maintaining exceptional standards of food quality, consistency and presentation Leading seasonal menu development and adapting the culinary offer throughout Ibiza's operating season Embedding sustainability and responsible sourcing within the resort's culinary operation Ensuring the highest standards of food safety, hygiene and HACCP compliance About You We are looking for a chef with
creativity, commercial awareness and strong leadership credentials . You will understand that an Executive Chef in a luxury lifestyle resort needs to be equally comfortable
creating food, developing people, managing numbers and collaborating with the wider business . Ideally, you will bring: Significant culinary leadership experience within a
five-star hotel, luxury resort or high-quality multi-outlet operation Previous
hotel or resort pre-opening experience
would be highly advantageous A strong understanding of Mediterranean cuisine and contemporary international food trends A genuine passion for
local produce, seasonality and sustainable sourcing Experience developing successful restaurant concepts and menus Strong commercial knowledge, including food cost, labour management, purchasing and budgeting A proven ability to recruit, develop and lead large culinary teams Strong working knowledge of
APPCC/HACCP and Spanish/EU food safety requirements Fluent Spanish and English Valid EU work authorisation or the appropriate Spanish work permit Why ZEST? This is a rare opportunity to join a new luxury resort
