Wärtsilä Exhaust Treatment is looking for Field Service Coordinator to join great journey of Wartsila Exhaust Treatment, mainly for CCS (Carbon Capture & Storage) and EGCS (Exhaust Gas Cleaning System).
This is a fixed-term position with an one-year contract. The position is based in Kobe, Japan.
What will you be doing:
As Field Service Coordinator, your work will focus on these responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule field service operations, aligning team efforts with customer requirements and service standards.
- Collaborate with customers and other external stakeholders and act as a point of contact for field service teams, facilitating communication and shared awareness between technicians, customers, and relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor field service activities to ensure compliance with safety protocols, service standards, and operational processes as well as customer policies, guidelines and regulations.
- Assist in the resolution of technical and operational issues, providing support and guidance to field service personnel.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing enhancements to field service processes.
- Maintain accurate records of field service activities, including resource allocation, service delivery timelines, and customer feedback.
To be successful in this position, you shall have:
- Degree in Marine Electrical & Automation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Previous field service, commissioning, or similar hands-on experience is highly preferred.
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to safety and a proactive safety-first mindset.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and coordination skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Excellent organizational skills and customer empathy, combined with a proven commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Strong team collaboration skills with the ability to adapt, prioritize, and re-plan effectively in a dynamic working environment.
- High level of cost awareness with a focus on operational efficiency and value-driven decision-making.
- Good documentation, reporting, analytical, and record management skills.
- Fluent in spoken and written Japanese.
- Good in spoken and written English.
