As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting Honeywell's Quality Control Systems (QCS) installed at customer manufacturing facilities.
QCS is a real-time measurement and control system used in paper, pulp, film, and other continuous manufacturing processes to ensure product quality, production efficiency, and stable operations.
You will work directly at customer sites, providing maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and technical support while building long-term trusted relationships with customers. As a frontline representative of Honeywell, you will help customers maximize system reliability and production performance.

・Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, inspection, and repair of Honeywell QCS systems
・Troubleshoot hardware, software, control, and communication issues
・Support system upgrades, migrations, and modernization projects
・Diagnose equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
・Maintain and support industrial servers, workstations, and network components
・Support PLCs, sensors, instrumentation devices, and control interfaces
・Prepare service reports, maintenance documentation, and technical recommendations
・Respond to customer technical inquiries and provide on-site support
・Develop strong customer relationships and act as a trusted technical advisor
・Collaborate with global engineering teams and technical specialists
Basic Qualifications
・Associate degree, technical diploma, or bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
・Valid driver's license
・Ability to travel to customer sites throughout Japan
・Basic English communication skills, including reading technical documentation and email communication
Preferred Qualifications
・Field Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Equipment Maintenance, or Production Engineering experience
・Experience supporting industrial equipment or manufacturing systems
・Experience with troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, automation, or process control systems
・Knowledge of PLCs, instrumentation, sensors, or interlock circuits
・Experience with industrial servers, networking, RAID, backup/restore processes
・Experience in paper, pulp, film, converting, or process manufacturing industries
・Strong problem-solving and customer communication skills
・Experience providing technical support in customer-facing environments
