Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain applications with a focus on business rules and decision services.
- Work closely with Japanese and global teams, ensuring seamless bilingual communication.
- Develop and manage IBM ODM (v9.x) rule projects, including authoring, testing, and deployment.
- Debug and optimize business rule applications.
- Participate in Agile development practices and contribute to continuous improvement.
Job Qualification:
- Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent
- At least 5+ years of experience in software design, development, testing, and support of enterprise applications.
- Hands-on experience with IBM ODM (Rule Designer / Decision Center) for rule authoring, development, and deployment.
- Experience developing scalable, resilient, and secure applications in complex or regulated environments (insurance domain is a plus).
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) including CI/CD, test-driven development (TDD), and Agile methodologies (including shift-left practices)
- Experience working in cross-functional and global teams, leveraging bilingual communication in Japanese and English
