Description
* Own the end‑to‑end HR agenda for Japan, including talent review, compensation cycles, performance management, and workforce planning
* Act as a trusted advisor and coach to senior leaders, supporting complex people and organisational decisions
* Translate business strategy into practical, data‑driven HR solutions with strong analytical judgement
* Partner closely with regional HR stakeholders within an APAC structure
* Lead and develop a small local HR team, driving consistency and capability
Profile
* Extensive experience as an HR Business Partner in a complex, multinational environment
* Proven ability to partner with senior leadership and influence at executive level
* Strong grounding in core HR disciplines: talent management, rewards, performance, and organisational planning
* Commercial mindset with the ability to use data to guide decision‑making
* Business‑level English; Japanese language capability is highly preferred
