About the role:
The Fixed Plant Maintenance Team is currently seeking a Maintainer Boilermaker to join them on a 14:14 Days & Nights Roster. Reporting to the Supervisor Fixed Plant Maintenance, you will be pro-active in the rectification of plant equipment issues, minimise downtime and improve/sustain plant availability.
Duties:
- Identify, diagnose, scope and safely execute repairs
- Lead and work alongside Contractor Shutdown teams in offline task execution
- Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks and ensure works are completed in compliance with Roy Hills Safety Policies and Procedures
- Complete daily inspections of equipment and reporting on its condition
- Complete Maintenance Work Orders electronically via the Roy Hill Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) SAP
- Involvement in routine maintenance of specialised fabrication/ welding/cutting equipment
Skills and experience:
- Australian Recognised Trade Certificate
- Current WA Drivers Licence, Unrestricted C Class Manual
- Previous experience working within a large-scale mining environment as well as experience with balance machines, crushing and conveyor systems desirable
- Forklift, EWP, Crane and Basic Rigging qualifications desirable
- Strong understanding of Critical Risks associated with Fixed Plant Maintenance
