Job Summary

The Field Service Engineer is expected to provide on-call and emergency services to Tetra Pak customers as needed and is responsible for delivering technical service and support to Tetra Pak customers by providing installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, training and troubleshooting. Services are performed on Tetra Pak Equipment including food processing and packaging lines. This position requires extensive travel, mostly domestic with occasional international travel.

What you will do

As our Maintenance Engineer you will;

• Maintain Tetra Pak Processing and Packaging equipment. Perform preventive maintenance ensuring minimal downtime, maximum production efficiencies and efficient operation of customer equipment.

• Execute installation of relevant rebuilding/upgrade kits according to procedures and reinstate equipment into production environment according to defined expectations

• Perform service and breakdown work on the complete range of equipment.

• Execute preventive maintenance activities in line with global Tetra Pak standard procedures

• Monitor machine efficiencies. Prepare work reports in SMART. Action maintenance schedules.

• Communicate with service coordinator and customers regarding Tetra Pak equipment and service requirements.

• Co-operate and observe the Company OH&S Policies and Procedures.

• Undertake any other duties as requested

We believe you have

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Mechatronic Engineering or related field.

• At least 1 years experience as Maintenance improvement or Service Engineer from Food & Beverage, Heavy industry or Service industry.

• Familiar with Food Processing Equipment including freezers, ingredient freezers, molding lines, extrusion lines, and filling lines is advantage.

• Understanding of Automation platforms or similar is required.

• Proven ability to maintain positive customer relationships through strong technical and customer service skills.

• Willingness to travel (approximately 80% of the time)
