Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:
As the Senior Manager, Distribution & Transportation - APAC, you are responsible for leading the day-to-day performance, execution, and continuous improvement of Arc'teryx's distribution operations across the APAC region. You provide operational leadership to ensure distribution centres, logistics partners, and cross-functional stakeholders deliver against service, cost, quality, and inventory objectives.
You work closely with Amer Sports Warehousing & Logistics teams, third-party logistics providers, and Arc'teryx Commercial and Supply Chain partners to execute regional priorities while translating global distribution strategies into actionable operational plans.
You are accountable for ensuring distribution operations consistently meet business requirements, service level expectations, and growth objectives while building organizational capability through strong leadership, coaching, and process improvement.
Travel within the APAC region may be required up to 30-40% of the time.

The Distribution & Transportation team is the small but mighty operational brain of the Arc’teryx brand and works in close concert with Arc’teryx Commercial, Product and Merchandising teams to deliver our business goals in the near and long-term. Operating within the APAC region, the team plays a critical role in interfacing with Amer Operational Group functions (Warehousing, Customs, Transportation and Logistics Support to name a few), ensuring services delivered are in line with brand strategic objectives.
If you were in the Senior Manager, Distribution & Transportation - APAC role now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
- Leading APAC distribution operations to achieve established service, quality, inventory, and cost performance targets.
- Translating global Warehousing & Logistics strategies into annual operational plans, objectives, and KPIs for the APAC region.
- Partnering with Amer Sports-operated facilities and third-party logistics providers to ensure operational performance aligns with Arc'teryx expectations and service commitments.
- Leading the relationship with key brand 3PL partners within the APAC region
- Managing relationships with distribution centre leaders and operational partners across APAC to resolve issues, remove barriers, and drive performance improvements.
- Aligning regional peak readiness, labour planning, capacity planning, and resource allocation plans.
- Monitoring operational performance metrics and implementing corrective actions to address service, inventory, or fulfilment challenges.
- Leading continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and guest experience.
- Partnering with Commercial, Planning, Transportation, Customs, and Supply Chain teams to ensure alignment on priorities and execution requirements.
- Supporting new business initiatives, operational launches, and process changes within the APAC region.
- Evaluating operational risks and recommending improvements to procedures, processes, and ways of working.
- Leading, coaching, and developing a team of people leaders and individual contributors while fostering a high-performance culture.
- Guiding operational decision-making and prioritization to ensure work is aligned with departmental objectives and regional business needs.
- Reviewing operational deliverables, monitoring progress against plans, and holding teams accountable for results.
- Developing annual operational plans to support APAC business growth and evolving distribution requirements.
- Supporting distribution network expansion and capacity enhancement initiatives within the region.
- Implementing new fulfilment capabilities and omnichannel initiatives that improve guest experience.
- Driving operational readiness for market expansion, retail growth, and increased eCommerce demand.
- Partnering on warehouse system enhancements and process standardization initiatives across APAC locations.
Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:
Are you our next Senior Manager, Distribution & Transportation - APAC?
- You have a University Degree and/or professional designation in a relevant field (i.e. Logistics, SCMP, Business, Commerce, etc.)
- You have 8+ years’ experience in Warehousing, Logistics or Operational leadership roles
- You have a proven record of developing and implementing warehousing strategies
- You have a knowledge of change-management best practices
- You are driven to improve business processes and are skilled at implementing new ways of working to support teams in achieving their goals and metrics
- You have strong leadership and influencing skills, and are able to manage multiple stakeholders
- You have previous experience in a global business environment
- You have a working knowledge of SAP ERP and Warehouse Management Systems
- You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
- You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
- You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration
- You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
- You seek the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right
