Job Description: Content SpecialistJob Summary1
The Content Specialist is responsible for planning, producing, and optimizing high-quality content to enhance our digital marketing strategy. By managing official brand websites, e-commerce brand sites, and product detail pages, you will aim to increase brand awareness, drive audience engagement, and improve conversion rates. You will drive effective content initiatives while ensuring strict adherence to brand guidelines.What You Will Do1
Content Planning & Production: Plan, produce, and edit content for official brand sites and e-commerce platforms to enhance the overall user experience.1
Brand Consistency: Ensure all pages align with brand guidelines and content strategies, delivering a consistent brand message.1
Vendor Management & Scheduling: Oversee project timelines for website and product page updates, and manage tasks and performance for external vendors responsible for product database updates and align with internal stakeholders both in Japan and global offices.1
SEO Collaboration & Optimization: Partner closely with the internal SEO team to optimize content for both SEO and user experience (UX), improving search engine rankings and visitor engagement.1
Campaign Alignment: Develop content plans and update relevant web pages in alignment with marketing campaigns and product launches while adhering to brand guidelines.1
EC Asset Production & Review Management: Partner with the EC Marketing Manager to create digital assets and print media for e-commerce platforms, including thumbnails below-the-fold content (enhanced brand content), and landing pages, ensuring all assets go through the Brand Marketing Team’s review process for final approval.1
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with design teams, product teams, and external vendors to maintain content quality and accuracy.1
Performance Analysis: Analyze content performance, evaluate effectiveness across e-commerce platforms, and adjust strategies or content as needed.1
Market Research: Research industry trends, best practices, customer feedback, and competitor activities to identify and execute new opportunities for content improvement.1
Qualifications1
Bachelor’s degree or higher.1
3+ years of professional experience in digital marketing.1
3–5 years of hands-on experience in content creation and management.1
Strong communication skills to effectively direct creative assets and coordinate cross-functional review processes with marketing and brand teams.1
Proven experience in external vendor direction, task management, and schedule management.1
Having a strong experience in content management of PDP, brand store etc. on ecommerce platforms like Amazon, Rakuten etc.!.1
Deep understanding of keyword research tools and SEO best practices (at a level sufficient to collaborate smoothly with internal SEO specialists).1
Proficiency in data analysis using tools like Google Analytics.1
Strong copywriting, excellent writing, and editing skills.1
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.1
Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English.1
Strong collaborative mindset with the ability to drive projects proactively.1
Preferred Qualifications1
Experience with WordPress, Adobe Experience Manager or other Content Management Systems (CMS).1
Experience with Product Information Management (PIM) systems or product database management.1
Experience with A/B testing and Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO).1
Travel Requirements1
Expected travel: Up to 10%
