Department Overview
We are an eBook store that offers a wide range of eBooks, including comics, novels, and business books, as well as eBook readers.
In the Marketing Section, we are responsible for a broad set of missions, including increasing service awareness, nurturing customers and improving customer satisfaction, and maximizing GMS.
We plan and execute a wide variety of initiatives and continuously measure and evaluate their effectiveness.

You will work as one team to plan and execute initiatives that contribute to the service’s growth, leveraging a wide range of assets both within and outside the Rakuten Group.
Position Details
- Plan, execute, analyze, and evaluate customer lifecycle/nurturing initiatives
- Plan, execute, analyze, and evaluate initiatives to maximize GMS
- Monitor marketing KPIs
- Collect, process, and analyze various marketing data
- Develop junior members and provide team leadership
Work Environment
Kobo Japan Department has approximately 35 employees, with 7 employees working in the Marketing Section.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Experience conducting quantitative analysis in the marketing domain using BI tools
- Experience planning marketing initiatives, including campaigns
- Experience analyzing and monitoring marketing KPIs
- Experience mentoring junior team members and managing/leading team members
Desired Qualifications:
- English proficiency: Proficient enough to communicate in a business setting
