Position: Nuclear Security Engineer
Type: Contract
Compensation: $65–$75/hour
Location: Remote
Role Responsibilities
- Write challenging single-turn prompts in the nuclear domain, labeled as benign, dual-use, and adversarial.
- Evaluate AI responses against defined policy standards to ensure correct handling.
- Write reference answers with technical reasoning for correct responses.
- Collaborate on dual-use scenarios, ensuring models accurately judge misuse potential.
- Work independently to draw reliable lines between routine and dangerous inquiries.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Experience in material control and accountability, physical protection, or vulnerability assessment.
- Strong technical writing skills with prior experience or published research.
- Ability to differentiate between routine and potentially harmful questions.
Preferred
- Red-teaming experience in nuclear security or related fields.
- Background in nuclear security policy, training, or international assistance programs.
