Department Overview

The Recruiting and L&D Department aims to empower every employee to grow autonomously. We provide the platforms and environments necessary for developing competencies and skills aligned with "Rakuten Shugi" (our corporate principles).

Create at the Forefront of HR Tech
You will be responsible for building and optimizing the infrastructure for skill development and career growth from the ground up.
Data-Driven Decision Making
Gain high-level expertise in HR data analytics by continuously testing hypotheses and analyzing learning metrics.
Scale and Impact
As a cross-group organization, you will lead projects that impact tens of thousands of employees, directly influencing the organizational growth of the entire Rakuten Group.

Position Details

- Operation of the learning platform
- Support for aggregating and analyzing learning data (usage status, course-completion rates, etc.)
- Handling employee inquiries and creating platform usage guides
- Proposing and testing improvements to enhance the learning experience (LX)
- Coordination and collaboration with HR representatives from each department

Later, they transferred to the Group Human Resources Supervisory Department, where they deepened their expertise in organizational development and the creation of training programs. Mandatory Qualifications:

- Strong interest in HR Tech and data utilization: Eagerness to learn new tools and systems.
- Experience in conducting business in English: Comfortable reading manuals in English and communicating with global teams.

Desired Qualifications:

- Experience operating websites and platforms (CMS operation, basic HTML/CSS knowledge, etc.).
- Practical experience in data analysis (Tableau, SQL, BI tool usage, etc.)
Interest in "learning" and "education": Those with a passion for talent development, training management, or educational technology.
- Project support experience: Experience in task management and progress tracking for team-based work.
