About the Role
As Operations Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations, inventory management, supply chain activities, and order fulfillment processes for YETI Japan. Working closely with internal teams and external partners, you will help ensure operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, and excellent customer service. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to continuous improvement.
What You'll Do
Operations & Fulfillment
- Support daily warehouse operations, including inbound, outbound, and order fulfillment activities.
- Monitor operational issues and assist in implementing solutions to improve efficiency and service levels.
- Ensure order picking, packing, and shipping activities are completed accurately and on time.
Inventory & Supply Chain
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular monitoring and reconciliation.
- Support inventory replenishment and supply chain activities to ensure product availability.
- Utilize SAP systems to manage inventory and operational activities.
Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate with 3PL providers and vendors to support smooth operational execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet fulfillment and operational requirements.
Process Improvement & Reporting
- Assist in identifying and implementing process improvement initiatives.
- Maintain and update SOPs and operational documentation.
- Prepare and analyze reports on inventory, fulfillment, and operational performance.
Compliance & Team Support
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
- Support onboarding and training of new team members as needed.
- Contribute to a positive team environment and continuous improvement culture.
What You Bring
- Minimum 2 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse operations, or a related field.
- Experience working with SAP or other systems is preferred.
- Good understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and order fulfillment processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools, with the ability to analyze operational data and generate insights.
- Fluent in Japanese and business-level English, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
