About the role:
The Water team is currently seeking a Dewatering Operator to join them!
Reporting to the Supervisor Water, this role is responsible for the dewatering of active and planned mining pits. Supplying appropriate quality and quantity of water to the process plant, and disposal of excess water to the injection bore fields and dust suppression systems in accordance with Roy Hill licensing.
Duties:
- Installation of Polyethylene piping fittings in-pit and ex-pit
- Operate bore fields
- Isolate and repair pipelines as required
- Removal and reinstatement of water infrastructure
- Removal and reinstatement of water infrastructure
Skills and Experience:
- Prior experience working in mining or dewatering required
- Manual C Class licence required
- Heavy Rigid (HR) licence required
- IT Loader and Dogman experience desired
