Plant Engineer Shiga
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and execute projects involving the installation, major renovation, and upgrading of manufacturing equipment, facilities, and utility systems at the Shiga Plant.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and prepare necessary documentation—including C&Q (Commissioning & Qualification) records—for these projects.
- Drive technical and engineering standardization initiatives, including the development of internal C&Q processes and the exploration and implementation of new technologies.
- Participate in various global project and/or initiatives as site representative or point of contact.
WHO YOU ARE:
- University graduates or technical college graduates who have studied mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or chemical engineering in the field of science and technology (or those who have received an equivalent level of education)
- At least 5 years experience in pharmaceutical engineering with GMP knowledge including mechanical knowledge for production equipment, building, HVAC and plumbing, field building standard, fire protection, environment, explosion protection
- Solid Project management knowledge and skill
- Project lead and execution for designing, construction supervising from bugeting to handover to process including IQ/OQ for Pharmaceutical facilities.
- English communication skill to global function
- Fluency in Japanese and business level in English (oral and written) skills
- Proficient in the basic operation of business software applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as the effective use of AI tools through prompt-based interaction.
- Basic equipment design using CAD.
