Build and manage local media relationships, including planning and executing press presentations, drafting and distributing press releases, and developing PR materials in Japanese.
Drive celebrity, influencer & KOL partnerships, managing gifting, collaborations, event participation, and relationships with local celebrities, influencers, KOLs, and artists.
Coordinate PR events & activations, planning and executing local PR events while providing hands-on support for marketing activations and key launches.
Monitor PR performance & visibility, consolidating monthly KPI data, media coverage, social media exposure, and campaign results to support PR reporting and performance tracking.
You will excel in this role if:
You have 5+ years of PR experience in the fashion or beauty industry, with luxury experience preferred, gained either in-house or within a PR/advertising agency.
You have an established network of key Japanese media contacts and strong relationships with celebrities, influencers, KOLs, and other industry stakeholders.
You have proven experience developing and managing celebrity and influencer partnerships, from relationship building to campaign and event execution.
You have native-level Japanese proficiency, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as business-level English proficiency.
