We're seeking someone to join our team as an Associate in Shared Services and Banking Operations to support the Product and End of Day Pricing Reference Data Services team.
In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships.

What you’ll do in the role:
Ops–Tech Role
Lead end-to-end PRDS (Equities, Listed Derivatives, corporate actions, pricing), including ownership of data quality, controls, and vendor data sources across the Japan scope
Proactively identifying, analyzing, and resolving complex data issues, risks, and root causes working with global teams across Tech (Production Management) Operations & vendor teams
Develop understanding of data flows, system dependencies, and downstream impacts; ensure adherence to regulatory and global governance standards
2. Stakeholder & Global Collaboration
Act as the primary Japan PRDS lead, managing relationships with Trading, Front Office, Operations, and Technology stakeholders
Drive seamless collaboration with global teams (US and India), ensuring effective coordination across time zones and timely issue resolution/escalation
Partner with Global PRDS team to drive projects
3. Transformation (GenAI, Automation & User-Led Tools)
Support technology-driven initiatives to improve data processes
Assist in the adoption of tools such as Generative AI, intelligent document processing, and automated validation to enhance data quality and efficiency
Utilize user-led tools (e.g., Alteryx, Power BI, UiPath) and basic analytics to support automation, reporting, and process improvements
QUALIFICATIONS:
What you’ll bring to the role:
Strong relationship building skills
Understanding of financial products (Equity, Listed Derivatives) and the downstream impact of poor-quality data across sales & trading, operations, finance, risk, and regulatory processes.
Ability to think commercially and understand the impact of initiatives and risks on operational outcomes.
Ability to address non-standard issues within area of expertise
Culture carrier and role model, representing and leading the Firm’s core values to influence and motivate those around you.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, and readiness to escalate issues with a sense of urgency.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; exposure to technical skills (e.g., SQL, databases, macros) is a plus.
At least 3 years’ relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.
