Our stores serve as more than just places to sign contracts; they act as the "front line of customer engagement," playing a vital role in supporting the brand experience by providing Rakuten Group services across communications, finance, and e-commerce.

You will work directly with our internal sales and marketing departments, as well as with iPhone and Android manufacturers, allowing you to be consistently involved in the entire journey of a product-from its inception to the moment it reaches the customer’s hands.

For us, Rakuten Mobile shops are the "front line of customer engagement" where brand experiences are created. Currently, our "Product Strategy Group," which manages sales strategies and inventory for the latest iPhones, Android devices, and accessories, is looking for new team members to support this growth.

This is a rewarding role where you will collaborate with diverse internal and external partners, staying involved from product planning through to sales. Position Details

Under the OJT of senior colleagues, you will start with the following tasks and gradually increase your expertise:

- Planning and promoting sales strategies for devices and accessories at Rakuten Mobile shops.

- Optimizing product allocation by monitoring store stock status and aggregating/analyzing inventory data.

- Preparing for meetings, sharing information, and facilitating smooth coordination with manufacturers and related internal departments.

- Aggregating and analyzing sales and inventory data.

Work Environment

The Product Strategy Group within the Shop Operations Section is a team of 5, including the manager. Because we are a small team, we enjoy a warm, transparent atmosphere where you can easily consult with others whenever you face an issue. Experienced senior staff will provide careful support, so please feel free to join us with confidence.

Mandatory Qualifications:

- Experience in proactively managing tasks-from organizing requests and gathering necessary information to creating materials and reporting-while communicating with related departments and team members.

- Experience in driving business improvements, identifying issues, and creating reports in PowerPoint based on data and metrics, regardless of industry background.

- Practical experience in data aggregation and analysis using Excel, with the ability to organize multiple data points using functions and pivot tables to identify trends and issues.

- A positive attitude toward learning new skills and tackling tasks in areas where you have no prior experience.

Desired Qualifications:

- Experience in deriving next actions from numerical analysis, taking ownership, and working creatively to improve operations.

- A keen interest in smartphones and the latest technology trends, with a desire to leverage that knowledge to pursue "new value for customers."
