What do we expect from you?

Japan Experience offers a wide range of products for transportation in Japan, on Japan Experience website or on BtoB partner websites: train tickets, national and regional rail passes, driving licence translation, city subway passes, car rental inside tours.

Reporting to the Transportation & Internet product manager, you will be in charge of the following missions:

• Selection of new products for the brand. Pricing and accurate description,
• Selection of media, implementation of SEO recommendations,
• Product registration on the Japan Experience website, in 5 languages, or on partner websites,
• Creation & update of product databases,
• Participation in supplier meetings and negotiations, in Japanese / English,
• Creation of internal training materials,
• Competition benchmark.

Who you are:

• Passionate about Japanese culture, history, and traditions

• Currently living in Japan (or about to move to), with a valid visa (working holiday OK)

• Reliable, organized, and able to handle unexpected situations with calm

• Experience in a related tourism field is an asset

• Fluent in English (C1) and proficient in Japanese (N3 minimum)

• Proficiency in another language (French, German, Italian, or Spanish) is a plus

• Good command of computer tools (Word, Excel, Power Point, Canva) on a Mac.

• You can work between 25h to 40h a week, even occasionally on weekends

What we offer:

• Arubaito (アルバイト) contract, can lead to contract employee 契約社員 or even permanent contract 正社員 (with working visa sponsorship if needed) after a 6-12 month-probation period.

• A bilingual highly motivated international team of 30 people based in Tokyo, Kagurazaka (Shinjuku ward)

• Home office: 2 days / week after one month start
• Position available from July 2026, with a latest possible starting date of October 2026.
• Initial duration of 3 to 6 months, with the possibility of extension.

Our hiring process:

• One first 30min googlemeet interview with one product team member

• If successful, 2 x 45min interviews in a row, preferably face to face, with one product member and product director
