About the job

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

The Reverse Operations team is responsible for managing the end-to-end post-sales repair and supply chain network for Google Hardware. We partner with global vendors and cross-functional teams to deliver excellent repair services, optimize the spare parts supply chain, and scale the reverse logistics capabilities.

In this role, you will directly impact the customer experience for Pixel and other Google devices. You will play a critical role in driving efficiency, leading regional strategy, and ensuring operational excellence in a fast-paced and growing hardware ecosystem.

Google's mission is to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful. Our Devices & Services team combines the best of Google AI, Software, and Hardware to create radically helpful experiences for users. We research, design, and develop new technologies and hardware to make our user's interaction with computing faster, seamless, and more powerful. Whether finding new ways to capture and sense the world around us, advancing form factors, or improving interaction methods, the Devices & Services team is making people's lives better through technology.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and daily execution of post-sales repair operations and reverse logistics programs for the Japan Depot.
  • Manage strategic relationships with third-party service providers and major carrier partners to ensure operational SLAs and business requirements are met.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize the repair operations and enhance the customer repair experience for Pixel and other Google Hardware devices.
  • Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to support New Product Introductions (NPI).
  • Analyze operational metrics and systemic issues to identify root causes, escalating and implementing effective, scalable solutions.
