Job Description

NIQ/GFK CMI’s New Business Development Sales team is focused on growing revenue, finding new business opportunities and market penetration.


Sales is NIQ/GFK’s growth engine which is instrumental for the company’s success.


So where do you fit here?


You will be responsible for supporting a sales team in all sales and new business development efforts. You will learn our value proposition, our products and services, our context and environment as well as sales tools, principles and main processes. You will collaborate with key stakeholders and other teams to support driving sales and growth across a given scope.


Responsibilities



  • Work to gain broader knowledge of our CMI products, services, sales processes; our customers’ contexts and needs.

  • Support manager and broader team in sales efforts and growth of new business development:

    • Sales intelligence and lead generation from completely new accounts and regions

    • Proposal preparation, pricing, RFP support, reporting

    • Invoicing, contract management and reporting


  • Develop understanding of new customers, their industry/business to support the planning and execution of sales plan and renewals.

  • Collaborating / partnering with Customer Success and other relevant teams (RMS and RV account leaders & Tech & Durable Account leaders) supporting execution of new business development Plans and managing cold calling / hunting for new accounts.

  • Support collecting, understanding, and analyzing Voice of Customer feedback.

  • Negotiation: Identify key bargaining points for all parties and work effectively toward win-win solutions

Have the ability and propensity to recover quickly from setbacks, rejections, and conflicts and to maintain self-control in the face of hostility or provocation.

  • Organizational Savvy: Gather and accurately assess information related to the organization’s formal and informal communication channels and power relationships.

  • Business Acumen: Make sound business decisions based on a strong understanding of the company’s business model, strategic goals, and relevant policies, as well as best practices and current technologies in their own discipline or functional area.



Qualifications

  • Minimum 5years of experience in sales and new business development. 

  • Solid sales skills and developed sales expertise in target scope. 

  • Sales and growth mindset

  • Awareness of data analytics industry, business model, products, services and solutions like Brand Health, Segmentation, Usage & Attitude, Customer Experience & Shopper solutions etc. (We will also consider candidates who are interested in learning more about our industry and the work we do). 

  • Awareness of market trends and its interdependencies impacting customers

  • Each market to expand and adapt according to the market, account, technical needs, language, knowledge of specific systems, etc.



Additional Information

Remote-hybrid based role, must be physically located within Japan and candidate must be a Country/Region Resident.
