Strategy Manager - Energy Market

The role plays a consulting and strategic role in the organisation to stay ahead and updated on the energy market regulations as well as a core member of the sales development team. This position reports to the Head of Strategy overseas and works alongside the local team in Japan.

Description
* Market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, threats
* Work with internal teams to develop and implement market strategies that are aligned with business objectives
* Stay up-to-date on competitor's activities and market regulations, guidelines, and standards that affect the energy industry
* Identify risks and address them in customer contracts while maintaining a compliance framework
* Maintain relationships with key stakeholders such as METI, JEPX, TSOs, OCCTO and other government agencies and associations
* Engage with strategic customers and partners in support of business development
Profile
* Previous experience in the electricity and energy market in Japan
* Good communication and interpersonal skills in both Japanese and English to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders
* Passionate about working in an entrepreneurial environment and in the energy market in Japan
* Good analytical and strategic thinking skills
* Valid working visa in Japan
