Training and Implementation Consultant (Accounts/ Finance)

PINEWOOD.AI is seeking experienced automotive retail professionals to join our growing Training & Implementation team in Japan. This role is ideal for individuals with hands-on dealership experience in Accounts, or related operational functions, who are looking to apply their industry knowledge in a customer-facing technology environment.

The primary purpose of the role is to support the successful rollout and adoption of the Pinewood.ai platform across dealer networks in Japan. Through system implementation, user training, and go-live support, the role will help customers transition smoothly to the platform, ensuring end-users are confident, capable, and able to realise the full benefits of the solution.

Requirements

Essential

    • Strong knowledge and practical experience of automotive retail Aftersales operations, including Workshop and Parts functions.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels of an organisation.
    • Strong organisational and planning capabilities.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities while keeping stakeholders informed of progress and issues.
    • Full, clean Japanese driving licence.

Desireable

  • Experience using Microsoft Office products.
  • Previous experience delivering system implementation projects within Aftersales environments.
  • Experience with automotive retail management systems (DMS) or related software solutions.

Education & Qualifications

  • Degree-level education or equivalent experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; English language capability preferred.

Background & Knowledge

  • Demonstrated ability to understand customer requirements and align system functionality to business needs.
  • Good understanding of automotive retail operations and dealership processes.
  • Detailed knowledge of Aftersales business processes, including Workshop and Parts operations.
